Therapy and community to support you through the journey to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

The stress surrounding the journey to motherhood is often not spoken about and can feel overwhelming and lonely. At the best of times, we rely on our personal support systems—friends and family—to help us stay afloat, and even then negative thoughts can creep in: hopelessness, sadness, and self-doubt cloud your vision.

Eva Wellness was created with you in mind. We know how difficult and exhausting it can be to pretend that everything is okay. Let us support you.

We offer virtual appointments and a non-judgmental space to have real conversations about your experiences and emotions. We are here to help you navigate the tough stuff and find yourself and your happiness again.

Our Story

Eva Wellness is a mental health service and a supportive community for women* at every stage in their parenting journey.

Eva was founded by Sarah Goodman, MSW, RSW, PMH-C and Mira Lax, two moms who are passionate about maternal mental health and parental wellbeing. After becoming first-time moms during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mira and Sarah discovered the need for an online and offline community where parents can come together, share their experiences, and get the help they need.

The name "Eva" was inspired by Eve—the mother of all mothers,  the mother of all life. Eva also stems from the Hebrew words for breath and life. Our goal is to support mothers—the givers of life—to give back to themselves; to care for themselves so they can care for their families.

*Eva welcomes women of all identities and backgrounds and also offers support for partners.
